Avanade is a joint venture between Microsoft and Accenture.  Project team lead for medium to large custom software development and Business Intelligence projects.  As project team lead, responsible for budget, personnel, and resource management.  As solution architect, responsible for leading planning and design sessions between user and IT departments and producing functional design specifications.   Using proprietary methodologies, developed business and technical requirements to publish system requirements.  Develop and present technical presentations to executive management.

2000 to 2002

Career Manager for 20 consultants.  Project Manager for software development projects.  Performed business and workflow analysis for designing solution architectures.  Using Microsoft Solution Framework, gathered requirements and features to develop system requirements.  Managed the design business components for linking business applications over the Internet.  Developed data warehouse solutions to support enterprise reporting and OLAP analysis.  Designed Pocket PC mobility applications using Visual Studio .NET and SQL Server CE.  Provided technical sales support.

1996 to 1999

Designed and developed client server applications for various clients using Microsoft-based technologies:  Primary development using Visual Basic 6 and Access/SQL Server databases for Windows 95, Windows NT workstation, and Windows NT servers.  Developed business and user requirements to publish Request for Proposals.

Provided end-user developer support for the Portfolio Management Accounting Systems group for the Investment Management company.  Used Visual Basic and Access to generate detailed performance analysis of investment portfolios.

1995 to 1996

Responsible for modeling business processes using ERWin design tools and designing graphical user interfaces for a document management database system on client server platforms for law office and litigation support practices.

Systems Designer.  Kinetic Concepts, Inc.

1993 to 1995

Developed market, business, and technical requirements that led to the development of strategic business applications.  Designed user interfaces for use in the Corporate Marketing department on a 50-user Netware network.  Developed graphical user interfaces using relational database access tools to support client server application development.  Developed pen-based graphical applications for hand-held data collection of patient and product information.  Created the CAPS, ODYSSEY, and BENCHMARKER marketing applications.

1985 to 1992

Supervised project teams in the development and maintenance of PC-based multiuser software systems utilizing Joint Application Design methodologies.  Performed systems consulting engagements for manufacturing, government, and personal service firms.  Designed end-user requirements and developed high level and detailed project specifications for client and internal departments.  Designed and developed relational database management systems.  Performed numerous software selection feasibility studies to support accounting, distribution, order entry, and inventory functions.
